The parade
Veterans are invited to walk in the parade, which leaves Village Hall at 8:15 a.m. and ends at the Wellington Veterans Memorial on the corner of Forest Hill Boulevard and South Shore Boulevard. The village’s photos from past years show the procession on Forest Hill Boulevard, led by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies, with scouts and bagpipers taking part.
It is a short walk and an early start, so spectators should be along Forest Hill Boulevard or at the memorial shortly after 8 a.m.
The ceremony
At 8:30 a.m. the ceremony at the memorial includes remarks from the Wellington Village Council and the placing of memorial wreaths, with the American Legion post honoring all current and former members of the armed forces.
Veterans attending: active or retired veterans can register that morning at the Wellington tent, and their names will be read during the ceremony.
Road closures and parking
The village’s event page does not list road closures or parking for the parade. Check the event page in the days before Nov. 11 for any update, and allow extra time on Forest Hill Boulevard around the 8:15 a.m. start.
Past years
The village posts video highlights of the 2025 parade and ceremony on its YouTube channel and a photo album on Flickr, both linked from the event page. Its “Wellington Heroes” program, introduced in a video on the same page, profiles local veterans.
