Black Friday is Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28. Wellington’s main shopping center, The Mall at Wellington Green on Forest Hill Boulevard at State Road 7, had not posted its holiday hours when we checked; we will add them here when it does. The village’s own holiday market is Thursday, Dec. 10, on the Town Center waterfront.

Key dates

The Mall at Wellington Green

The mall is a two-level enclosed center at 10300 Forest Hill Blvd. Its own list of anchors: Dillard’s, Macy’s, JCPenney, City Furniture and Ashley, plus more than 150 specialty shops, a food court, dine-in restaurants, a children’s play area and CMX Cinemas Wellington 10. Brands it names on its home page include Apple, Brighton, Chico’s, H&M, Helzberg Diamonds and Tommy Bahama.

Holiday hours: not posted by Oct. 10. The mall publishes center hours on its website, and department stores and restaurants can open and close on their own schedules on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Call the management office at 561-227-6900 before you go. The mall’s events page is where holiday events, such as visits with Santa, are announced.

Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28

American Express started Small Business Saturday in 2010 and holds it each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Our new businesses page tracks openings, and the business directory lists local firms.

Holiday markets

• Holiday Bizarre on the Promenade, Thursday, Dec. 10, 5 to 9 p.m. That is how the village calendar lists the holiday edition of Thursday Nights in Wellington at the Wellington Amphitheater, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd. Free to attend.
• Thursday Nights in Wellington, every Thursday the series runs, has more than 35 market vendors (artisans, makers, bakers and small businesses) alongside food trucks from 5 to 9 p.m.
• Holiday Parade vendor village, Sunday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m., with arts and crafts vendors at the Amphitheater’s Holiday Park, per the parade page.

Parking and traffic

The village has not issued Black Friday traffic advice. The one holiday shopping weekend with road closures is the Holiday Parade on Sunday, Dec. 13:

• Forest Hill Boulevard closes from Wellington Trace to South Shore Boulevard from about 1 to 5:30 p.m.
• Ken Adams Way and Chancellor Drive have limited access during the parade.
• Cars parked at Town Center, 12300 Forest Hill Blvd., cannot leave until the parade ends.

The village’s Holiday Toy Drive takes new, unwrapped toys through Friday, Dec. 11, at Village Hall, Village Park, the Community Center, the Tennis Center and Thursday Nights at the Amphitheater.
