Wellington Fall Festival, Saturday, Oct. 17

3 to 10 p.m. at Village Park, 11700 Pierson Road. The village’s Fall Festival page lists the one-night-only Haunted Hallways, costume and pie-eating contests, trick-or-treating (bring a treat bag), games and inflatables, a DJ and dancing, and food trucks. Past festivals have included hay rides and a petting area, according to the village’s photo gallery. The earlier start gives families with young children time to enjoy it and get home for bedtime.

Admission is free. An all-access activity bracelet is $7 a child and $5 an adult before Oct. 16, then $10 a child and $5 an adult on the day; children 2 and under are free.

Spookyville and Fright Nights at the fairgrounds

The South Florida Fairgrounds, at 9067 Southern Blvd., about a mile east of State Road 7 according to the fair, runs two Halloween events:

  • Spookyville in Yesteryear Village is the family one: safe trick-or-treating, a costume parade on Sundays, live entertainment, food trucks and vendors. It runs 5 to 9 p.m. Fridays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays on Oct. 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31. Gates close 30 minutes before closing. Advance tickets through Oct. 16 are $9 for adults and $13.50 for children; a $45 family package for two adults and two children goes on sale Oct. 17. Children 1 and under are free. Enter through the archway gate.
  • Fright Nights is the haunted-house event, running select nights through Oct. 30. The midway and outdoor vendors open at 6 p.m. and three haunted houses at 7 p.m. Children under 12 must be with an adult, and the fair does not recommend the haunted houses for them. Online tickets are $48.50 and include admission and 40 Fright Credits for attractions and rides; parking is $10 through Gate 8 off Fairgrounds Road.

Corn maze and pumpkin patch: Bedner’s, through Nov. 1

Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market, 10066 Lee Road in Boynton Beach, runs its 2026 Fall Festival through Sunday, Nov. 1. One admission covers the pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, a tractor ride, the corn maze and the sunflower field; the farm says the maze and sunflowers depend on weather and growing. Weekends add face painting, balloon animals, food trucks and vendors. It opens at 9 a.m., with last admission at 5 p.m. Tickets are sold at the gate only, parking is free and pets are not allowed.

Market Saturdays

The Royal Palm Beach Green Market & Bazaar is on the Village of Royal Palm Beach calendar every Saturday from Oct. 17, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 1050 Royal Palm Beach Blvd.; see our farmers markets guide.
