Wellington publishes its legal notices on Palm Beach County's notice website, not in a newspaper. Where to find them, upcoming hearings and how to get alerts.
Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. This page is an index for convenience. It is not the official publication of any notice. The legally required notice is the one in the publication or on the website the law names.
In Florida, cities, counties and courts must publish many decisions before they happen: rezonings, new ordinances, budgets, bids, elections, foreclosures and estate cases. In Wellington the Village Clerk handles the village’s legal advertising, according to the Clerk’s Office page. Since July 22, 2024, the village has published its legally required notices on Palm Beach County’s designated public notice website instead of a newspaper.

How Wellington publishes notices
Florida lets a local government publish legally required notices on its county’s designated public website instead of a newspaper, under section 50.0311 of the Florida Statutes. Wellington adopted that route in July 2024. In its notice of the change (PDF), the Village Clerk said:
- Notices are posted at pbcfllegalnotices.com/163/Wellington, with a link on the village’s home page.
- Anyone can sign up on the county site for alerts as notices are released.
- Property owners and residents can also ask to get notices by first-class mail or email. Send your name, address, email and preferred method to villageclerk@wellingtonfl.gov or visit the Clerk’s Office at Village Hall.
